Following our recent rebrand project with AllGates (and a couple of visits to their amazing Grade II-listed tower brewery), we became fascinated by the brewing process and soon felt the urge to get our hands dirty in a special collaboration.
We love tea, and the only way we think it can be made better is by sticking it in a beer. So, when we learned that AllGates occasionally brew up a tea-infused pale ale (and loved the stuff!), we thought it only natural to task the guys with creating a biscuit beer to go alongside. We decided upon another pale ale; this time with a sweet amber malt base and a dash of cinnamon, to complement the pink grapefruit and blue cornflower tea, which is the award-winning Blue Sky blend by J. Atkinson & Co. of Lancaster.
Featuring our own hand-drawn artwork, most of the limited edition, two bottle packs have made their way to our clients, friends and families as a little thank you and feet-up break on us. Fortunately, we still have a few spares lying around the studio for Friday afternoons – there’s always time for tea (and a biscuit).
