Our second production for De La Salle School is underway, and again involves working with the students on the production of posters, t-shirts and programmes.

During a number of hour long classes we discussed illustration and how we could make the project fun but relevant to the school. The title led us to adopt a things will go wrong attitude, we all felt the best representation of this was a comedy custard splat.

We discussed with the students how we could evolve the campaign and how we should build interest via guerilla marketing techniques. We demonstrated how the initial ideas the students produced could be distilled into posters, leaflets, t shirts and the programme (with a heavy emphasis on splats of all types).

A number of the students are involved in the new Design Diploma for which the work produced will be used.

It has been great fun with some great ideas from all involved, look out for the completed work.
