Working closely with the Nuvia Communications department we have designed a suite of literature. Taking a lead from the brand established by their parent company we have introduced colour and a branded “blend” to the overall brand style. We are looking forward to seeing the whole set.

Following the successful completion of the REACT toolkit booklets and accompanying website, the team at the Spectrum centre asked us to bring the website which promotes the study in-line with the rest of the toolkit.

Taking the graphic style we applied to the toolkit we have designed and developed a cms backed site which can be easily administered by the team. The new site also allows visitors to register their interest in taking part in the study.

We have just produced a new batch of teaser posters for Colours’ Autumn / Winter parties at Sankeys in Manchester. The teaser posters have been released accross the North West to promote their headline artists for September and December.

The design closely follows the visual theme we have established for Colour, this time featuring treated images of headliners Dave ‘The Baron of Techno’ Clarke and New York Techno and House music pioneer Joey Beltram. Joey is credited with the creation of ‘the hoover sound’ that became iconic within rave culture.

Further to our successful work on the Simplex Foundations and Westpile websites, we were commissioned by the newly merged company to produce an updated site to promote the new combined offering.

By combining the best parts of each site we have designed a single cms driven site which features extensive information on piling techniques, rig information and a regularly updated news section.

We have also setup a series of 301 redirects from the old sites to retain the good seo ranking previously generated.

With our ever growing knowledge of all things dance, following our work with the UC Crew, we were approached by Jo and Claire from the Bespoke Dance Company to produce a site to promote their dance classes.

The brief was for a contemporary, easy to use site which incorporated a gallery of photos and video from the shows and classes Bespoke deliver.

Graphic Design of Posters and Fliers for the upcoming Northern Hordes 3, a St Helens Bboy/Bgirl battle featuring tournaments and dance crews from across the UK and Europe.

The event takes place on Saturday 3rd July at the St Helens Festival, Sherdley Park.

We have recently completed the branding and promotional material for the Leeds based electronic music mini-festival Extract. This is the first year for the event created by the team behind Detached, the seminal monthly night in Leeds.

The event boasts 47 artists from eight countries over fifteen hours and four stages. It was these numbers and our mathematics skills, which rival the greats - Hawkings, Einstein and Ball, that inspired the main image. Focusing on the Leeds district, we constructed the area using a sequence of 47 colour coded dots, and then applied the event data to form an extruded 3D shape.

10,000 A5 full colour fliers were produced and a series of posters will be appearing all over the North West so keep your eyes peeled.

Doors open at 5pm on the 3rd of July 2010 and feature the finest techno line up in the UK for well over a decade, we don’t know anywhere else you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ followed by a live set from Detroit legends Octave One!

React is a self-help package (toolkit) for relatives and friends of people in the first stages of mental health problems associated with psychosis. The toolkit contains a variety of useful information mixed with short tasks and real life experiences to help the study group use the information in their own life.

Working closely with the Spectrum Centre at Lancaster University and with contributions from psychologists, nurses and relatives of people with psychosis we have designed and produced the folder and 13 booklets that make up the REACT Toolkit.

Based on the early discussion with the REACT team we produced a screen printed folder which contained the 13 loop stitched A5 booklets, printed on a recycled offset stock. The booklets can easily be removed from the larger pack to be read as a single booklet.

To avoid a medical feel to the study, we opted for a bright colour scheme and friendly illustrative style in a simple single column layout.

The booklets were also recreated as an extensive cms driven website, which also utilised the same colour scheme and illustrations.

We have just lovingly reproduced all 262 pages of the 13 booklet REACT toolkit in website form, including all illustrations. Your gonna have to take our word for it though!

The aim of the study is to design and evaluate a self management package for relatives of people with recent onset psychosis.

With this is mind, the site is only accessible to those on the study group and all members of the team are being excluded from any site stats generated by excluding their IP addresses. This will allow the REACT team to effectively gather data on how and when the site is used, which sections are the most relevant and generate feedback directly from the site.

Work is now complete on the print aspect of the REACT project. It has been a great project to be involved in and we’ve all enjoyed every aspect of it, from dealing with the Spectrum centre to designing, illustrating and receiving the final print.

The folder and booklets have been extremely well received (fantastic in their words) and we and the client feel that we have the balance of text and illustrations just right.

Now to get the associated site finished…..

The posters promote a Cancer Support event which is being held at Liverpool St Helens Rugby Club, Moss Lane, St Helens on Saturday July 10th. Featuring…. The Clone Roses, Desert Monkeys, Luna Band & Guest DJs.

Design and production of posters and fliers for this Xgames style event in St Helens working with the VInvolved team we produced designs that represent the gritty but fun nature of Skate parks, Break dancing, BMX and Live Graffiti.

Influenced by the crisp clean interior design we supplied the branding, signage, printed literature and web design for this contemporary beauty salon.
